LSU players know how to win close games against good teams. Bama players have not had that experience.

Yeah, I was wrong. Bama proved me wrong. That is kind of my point. I have no business talking trash anymore - not until my own team can actually finish a game against them again and be more competitive. The shutout against Arkansas was pretty much the last straw. LSU is not close to where they need to be, even though they should have beaten Alabama. But, they were never going to. They don't have what it takes right now.
When I was a little kid, I remember the best Saints teams of my childhood lose in excruciating fashion to the Joe Montana led 49ers. The Saints would always be leading 14-10 or something with 2 minutes left. Then, Montana would get the ball, drive down the field, and win the game. Every. Time. The myth was that the Saints were just as good as the 49ers but just a few things didn't go our way. The reality was that we weren't in the same ballpark. They could finish and we could not. That was huge.

The other group that is just writing post after terrible post trying to flame and diminish LSU, you are acting in a way that I have expected from Bama fans - so I am not surprised.
These are the kind I had the wonderful pleasure of encountering in Tuscaloosa in '05, '07, and '11 with their unprintable toothless, stinking Katrina and then Deepwater Horizon insults. They made Bears fans look like Amish altar boys. If I would have made insults about what happened in Alabama in the spring of 2011 (which I would not have even thought to do) how do you think that would have gone over ????????
Before that time I was sort of indifferent to them and just tried to ignore them. Never really cared one way or the other.

I sincerely don't believe you made it anywhere near Alabama's campus for any of these games. If people really were saying things like this it was only because you were acting like a drunk a-hole to begin with.

#1. I don't drink
#2. We NEVER start anything when we come to your fair city and campus. We would be afraid to.
#3 It was a small but vocal minority of fans that did this to us. For chrissake I know it doesn't respresent the other 100,000 on campus or the bama fanbase as a whole.
I was actually surprised that these people were bama fans, because most are like like LSU fans as a whole - fun-loving, jovial, rabid, knowledgeable, and generous.
#4. I did not reply or say anything back to these people. So no, I WASN'T an a-hole.
