I see HC McElwain is a fan of the Urban Meyer school of recruiting...less the 5 stars or players with a lot of talent.

Tyrie Cleveland was a five star and rated the number two overall WR in the country last year

Why would kids making very stupid decisions be exciting? Are you insane?

4* Composite, but the point stands... actually one of the more highly rated recruits Mac brought in. LINK

absolutely knew one would be Tyrie Cleveland.

His aunt that he lived in Houston away from his parents in Florida straight out said that she wanted him to come to Arkansas and stay away from Florida where his friends in the wrong crowd would be close to him.

It didn't even take 2 months for her to be proven right.

Now he'll learn a hard lesson but those charges almost sound like they were shooting fireworks at a building or something.

I am convinced that most young people today are idiots.
(See support for Bernie Sanders as example)

when and how would you think that firing a BB gun into a dorm would ever be a good idea?

DWM (dorm windows matter)

Interesting that the BB gun itself is not a felony weapons charge in Gainesville (like it is at UGA) and yet they still managed to find a way to get charged with felonies.

"missile" while technically accurate feels like it should have been replaced with "projectile"... it would have been much less misleading when reading the charges.

NO. Its just the caliber of kids who play football. Like it or not, they did not come from good places and live a thug life.

Every team has them. Its just a dart you hope does not land on your team.

It wont stop. It will never stop. People in general are not afraid of consequences anymore. They just dont GAF

My mistake. I figured that they'd have more than one wide receiver rated as a five star. That's kind of odd.

Mac brought in two guys rated higher (2 five stars) in his first class. He's a baller. I hope these charges get dropped or lessened because he's certainly needed this year

Gator Ath. Dept. needs to check with the REC to see how they can get these charges dismissed due to unlawful search. This does seem minor at first blush, but it could have easily gone tragic had anyone in the room had an eye put out.
