Yeah, I think the SEC has it figured out.
There is talk that we don't play enough "quality" teams, but that is crap. Yeah Florida played a bunch of crap teams early on, but they also have a non-conference rivalry game with FSU. UGA may have had the hardest schedule in the nation. If not them, then Mississippi State does.
I think Alabama has it figured out. If you play your given SEC schedule and then one big game (Clemson, Va. Tech, Penn State) then you are going to have plenty of weight in your strength of schedule.

Yes, but everytime you actually scored it was called a score on the field...

As am I. I remember when they set this up, it seemed so far off, but now it's next season. I love seeing some of the old school powerhouses renew some games. I'm hoping we can get Nebraska, Notre Dame and Texas on our schedule in the future too. There's still some talks with Notre Dame, so hopefully that one will come to fruition, and I wouldn't mind playing Nebraska in the new Texas stadium sometime in the future. Would be great for recruiting and an exciting game. Btw.. I got to go to the last Bama/Penn St game. Ended up somehow surrounded by Penn State fans and we lost 9-0, but was some of the best fans, they were very respectful and had great discussions about the history between the 2 schools.

that same official that said bama's was out of the endzone earlier called a Penn St receiver inbounds on a TD when he was clearly out.

I don't think it was the same game. And I don't think it was a TD pass either. But he landed a couple of feet out of bounds and it was called a catch.

It's in the past though. You guys got the best of us a good chunk of the time. It'll be fun to renew the series for a couple of years starting next September. I'm excited for us to play a fellow "old school" team. I miss the pre-Big 10 days when we could play a wide open schedule with good teams from all over.
I am really fired up about the game next year. Y'all have got great fans and it is always fun when we play Penn State. I hope coach Paterno is still the coach for the game next year.
