3 OOC games to schedule how they like
I'd rather play three from the other division and only two OOC games as I am quite sure most of the SEC AD's would schedule D1 creampuffs and D1AA and D2 cupcakes. I do not enjoy paying to watch that horseshite.

Trade NC for FSU

Agree. UNC would never leave the conference unless Duke followed.

If the SEC ever considered expansion, first two targets I'd want are Georgia Tech and Florida State.

Auburn had nice rivalries with both, and the Florida State games were the bomb.

I agree, but with this type of league, "pre season" games would be that much more important.

There are many good combinations from a fan perspective...but the league would look at it from a revenue perspective.

You don't want any of that.

What...GT and Florida State?

GT doesn't have that many fans and wouldn't bring much more revenue that UGA already brings.

Florida State I'm not sure what they would bring as far as viewers?

This type of expansion would definately lead to an all SEC NC game.

Florida State instead of Miami, or include Miami and Florida State instead of someone else?

Well thought out post but 16 teams is way too many. Other conferences only have 10. They have no conference championships. IMO if those conferences are labled BCS conferences then they should be requird / obligated / forced to play a conference chapionship. The sec has won the last 4 national championships so I don't see any reason to frick up a good thing.

It might force playoffs. Hence no BCS before the NC.

IF Texas moves to the big "10" .. that will lead to other super conferences and ultimately a playoff IMO

With this league, we would have 4 or 5 teams in the playoffs...
