Our helmet should of been in there with the white jersey.

Our helmet is awesome, nothing out there like it really.

Pretty good list except Oregon. There's nothing historic about 100+ uniform combos.

I think they are referring to these (which are great btw)... Also, Washington and Colorado's home uniforms should be on the list.

15. Pittsburgh's script helmets

Those old Tony Dorsett, Dan Marino Pitt helmets of the 70's-late 80's were bad arse. They had that mustard gold looking color with matching facemasks. I used to love the Pitt Panthers back in the day when all the Pittsburgh teams(Steelers, Pirates, and Panthers) ruled. They finally brought the script back, which I had been calling for years, on the gold helmets. Maybe, they can get a return to the glory days.

Solid list. I can't argue with much. I've always thought that the Big 10 has the best assortment of uniforms in college football. Even dreaded Ohio State has a great, classic look.

Like the helmet but nothing special about the white jersey...Purple jersey rocks though.Don't think any team should have an "exemption" for wearing white jerseys at home.

I like Michigan's a lot, but I love Notre Dame's.

Man, I find Auburn's navy uniforms to be so much better than the whites. Just a personal preference.

Yeah Auburn's home unis are legit. Love the white helmet/dark jersey/white pants combo.

Never heard that, but if true shouldn't matter because Arky/Oklahoma/whoever doesn't use it anymore.

Sometimes I think these lists mistake "iconic" for "attractive". I get that I'm in a minority, but I find the iconic -- and they are iconic -- golden domes to be somewhat garish, and the iconic -- and still definitely iconic -- winged helmets of Michigan to be a little odd-looking from most angles. But, as I said, I know I'm in the minority.

I agree. Just because a school has used a uniform for 100 years without changing it doesn't make it the 'best' uniform.

Nebraska, Alabama and Penn State are iconic, but too damned bland to be considered 'best' uniform. They're iconic only because they're some of the best programs, historically.
