I don't care for him either. In reality there's only maybe one or two basketball commentators I do enjoy. Bilas and Gus Johnson are up there.

My favorite at the national level for college basketball was Al McGuire.
#1 He really knew the game
#2 He was pretty balanced about the teams involved
He was like the anti Digger.

Me too.
Bilas is up there for me simply because he was one of the few guys who logically defended UK when Tubby left and even when I don't necessarily agree with him he at least provides solid logic for his opinions.

Big difference when you have a guy who came up in the age of radio so he had to be the eyes for the listeners. In the age of TV you will never get that again as they just don't have the same training.
