Even if Clemson, UW, etc drop one, they'll put a one loss conference champion in

Y'all blew it Saturday. The season is over but then again we all knew it wouldn't hold up. I expect another two losses.

Yall could beat us. There is no way this Ole Miss squad beats us.

Unless something crazy happens then the SEC (Bam), ACC (Clem), & Big Ten (Mich) will all get in easily. That leaves the Pac & Big 12 Champs. I think Washington loses at least 1. Their SOS is 113. Even if they're a 1 loss conference champ, they won't deserve it. Same goes with the Big 12. OU already has 2 losses. BU is undefeated but the SOS is 124th . I guess WVU could earn a spot if they run the table, but I don't see it happening. IMO the biggest threat to the 4th playoff spot is UL. They're damn good, only have a loss to Clemson, and Lamar is the biggest reason to turn on your TV and watch CFB on Saturdays. The guy is something special.

If A&M goes 11-1 then it means they only dropped 1 game to the #1 team in CFB. The SOS is currently 5th, and they will have wins over #13, 20, 37, 44, 53, & 68 (NPI rating and I am sure other similar ranking systems). I would call that an impressive resume.

In short, A&M needs UW, WVU, & UL to lose. Maybe tOSU too.

You are way wrong. This may well happen this year with OSU and Mich. If money is to be made, and there is opportunity to put 2 teams from a conference, they will.

In fact, crazy as this sounds, I could see OSU, Mich, Bama, LSU/A&M as a bracket. ACC, Big12, PAC could easily all have 2 loss champs. LSU would get a pass over other 2 loss champs because the 2 losses happened under Miles. A&M would go over 2 loss champs because of only loss to Bama.

Only two conferences represented? Right.

No. Stop being stupid. The committee has made it blatantly clear that a conference championship is a necessary requirement. It's possible we will see two teams from one conference at some point but there is literally a 0% chance the committee would ever have 4 teams from two conferences in the CFP. To suggest so is just hilariously stupid.

You guys will rush for a lot. But you better keep the clamps on OM's TE. He (and Kelly of course) is the key to their offense. Might be another game like that TTech/Okla game this weekend.

Win out and y'all will be hanging around the top 5. Beat OM and shut down LSU on Thanksgiving and the committee will view your season favorable. 11-1 with wins over Auburn/USC/UT/OM/LSU will look good.

Ole Miss is a good football team, but I think the Ags outlast the Rebels at home.

So with A&M going 11-1

Yep that LSU win is outomatic for A&M, just like every year.

This is not even trolling. This is just being dumb.

Really?

A) 2 loss Wash (even 1 loss tbh), 2 loss Baylor (even 1 loss tbh), 2 loss Clemson, and 2 loss LSU all champs
B) 1 loss Bama (LSU), 1 loss Mich (OSU close game), 1 loss OSU (champ)

OSU is in. But who else? Far-fetched scenario? Such things have happened before.

If Auburn wins out the worst case for an 11-1 Aggies would be a three way tie with Bama and Auburn. If Bama loses twice you would be in the SEC Championship. I don't think any of that will happen but who knows. I do not think there is any chance we get 2 SEC teams in.

Whoever wins the SECCG goes. So for Aggies to go they need Bama to drop 2

You could easily have a one loss Michigan and a one loss aTm competing for the fourth spot. I think they'd take Michigan if it got to that point, especially if their loss to tOSU was close. Not because they would deserve it over aTm...only because they're Michigan, and aTm isn't.
