100K Death Valley is on its way..

Not to mention more luxury box suites, internal and external stadium renovations, and a total reinventing of the outside complex grounds, North Stadium Drive, gates, and lots.
This was proposed initially by Skip Bertman in the 90's, which besides plans for the new Alex Box baseball stadium, included a makeover of Tiger Stadium and N. Stadium Drive area.
Joe Alleva has since worked with contractors, planners and designers to enhance Skip's vision and brought it to fruition.

Pretty smart to save the construction until your team is declining. Get the butts in the seats in other ways.
