Wow I guess that Hogville comment hurt, and obviously you don't know jack shite about football as I tried to teach you the Y in the Spread is not a true tight end but a flex. Typical dumbass and internet bad arse. Danario Alexander is a Wide Reciever not a TE and he played Y his whole senior season, so no Y is not just a TE. As for Hog fans saying they did not want DGB, just fricking pathetic. As for DGB's mom, I used to coach with John Beckham years before DGB and his family is top notch. She called out Petrino as a weasel and guess what she was right.

Since when did I say Mizzou ran a Y Stack Offense. In basic FB terms the Y is a TE as Mizzou runs their Spread attack many times the Y position is a Wide Reciever. Jeremy Maclin ran many plays from the Y as I have said Danario Alexander ran Y a whole season and he is a WR. I know that many do not have a clue about Mizzou's offense on here but there is not really even an argument with what I have said.

Y position

Just so you know, I get what you are saying but I also get what he said too

and as far as Mizzou running the Y, haven't watched enough to know, but I would suspect that you run deviations from time to time

So.....you're accusing him of being an internet badass by going internet badass yourself?
You coach, so you know more than everyone else, right? Internet badass indeed.

I asked if he was still getting time at TE. That doesn't mean, is he ONLY getting time at TE. That means, is he getting ANY time at TE? I didn't ask if his position changed.

You insulted me, assuming I had picked up on this "asinine" rumor from Hogville. Evidently, the implication that DGB would EVER spend ANY time at TE was BEYOND ludicrous.

Yet...

You just fricking said it yourself. He is SOMETIMES a TE. YOU said that. Not me.

My problem was that I tried to explain how Mizzou since going Spread has used many WR's as a Y and he was kind of an a-hole about it, I can appreciate your take on the Y position as in terms of the game a Y is almost always a pure TE. For the other poster no I am not an internet badass, never claimed to be. I was responding to a guy who came out calling people dicks and dumbfricks. I do though after 15+ years of coaching do know a little of the X & O's of football. Does that make me a god of football, of course not.

Considering there is a thread there about the topic I made a smart arse remark about it. If you see Hogville talk as an insult that is on you. As for your insults of me being a "dick" "dumbass" or "trailer trash" or me calling you a "dumbfrick" that is not my normal demeanor on the web. I am done discussing that with you as I don't get off on flame wars.

"WR is probably the easiest position to play as a true freshman."

I would probably put that position as RB. But I agree WR is not the hardest by any means.
