What is it you want to bet? I think Arkansas will more than likely lose this game. LSU is really really fricking good, and at home.
I'm even fine with a 12pt spread.
My whole take on this though is that 12pts is nothing. The "Vegas Knows" stance is a line of horseshite. These lines are set by guys that have forgot more about football than I'll ever learn. They can set lines far better than I ever would be able to. But don't think for a second that aren't very, very wrong on multiple games every single week.
I'm even fine with a 12pt spread.

Lets say Vegas says there are 12 14+ favorites this week. Well, Vegas knows what they are talking about and there's no way the 14 pt favorites lose, so I'll just side with Vegas on these.
The above line of thinking will have you lose 3 out 4 times. That's if you side with them. They are almost always wrong about one or two, so its almost never safe to parlay even all the extreme heavy favorites.

I'm in a NFL pickem league and for the most part the spreads have been dead on weekly.

Actually it means that they believe the majority of folks will bet the opposite of what they really feel will happen, as is always the case with a line. The age-old question is, which side of the fence do the oddsmakers fall on? Personally, I say they feel LSU will cover this and they're banking that most people feel they will not. Very difficult to believe they would feel that the majority of wagers would take LSU in this scenario.

I don't have the energy to debate it though. My stance is that if you were to simply throw all the 14+ pt home favorites in a moneyline parlay, you would lose more than you win. Whole point being, 2 TD favorites lose all the time. All-The-Time.
That doesn't mean that Vegas is stupid, that LSU will lose to Arkansas or that I'm some sort of authority of gambling.
