I thought Alabama lost badly to Kent State as the #2 seed in 2002.

You guys are confusing our postseason choke jobs under Gottfried.
2001 - horrible OOC, 25-11, lose in NIT finals to Tulsa
2002 - win SEC, get blown out by Kent State in the Round of 32
2003 - start 9-0, ranked #1, lose 12 of last 20, lose in 1st round to Indiana
2004 - worst regular season overall since NIT year, of course we get hot and go to Elite 8
2005 - so much excitement! start 10-1, get blown out by Wisky in Madison, go 23-6, lose in first round to UWM (and give Pearl the UT job)
2006 - 18-13, lose in 2nd round to UCLA
And then it all ended.
