That should be your top 4. Bama gets another test with Ohio State right off the bat. Your top 3 conference champions, but Penn State doesn't get in because of the bad loss to Michigan and loss to Pitt. Ohio State's win OU and over Michigan are strong statements, and they have the better record. Penn State at the Rose Bowl is still a great year for them.

Won't happen. Washington with that strength of schedule is lucky to be in. If PSU had one less loss, they would take that spot.

Yes, but what happened when Ohio State played Penn State? You know the answer, and you lose all credibility.

If Penn State had one loss, things would be much different. Washington would either be 4 or not in at all and Ohio State would possibly still be in at 4 and Penn State at 3.

UW and OSU will be flipped.

They want the champ game to be hyped. Assuming Bama wins, that guarantees either a rematch of last year's epic game or Saban-Meyer Part 5

think it is more likely washington gets left out, Penn State in last spot. washington played a bunch of bad teams OOC. their best two wins are over a Colorado team that had an injured QB and a washington state team that had two bad OOC losses.

i can't see them making Alabama play Ohio State first lol.

last year the com. made sure the no. 1 seed Clemson played Okla, the team perceived as the best at that point, to protect Alabama, who got a MSU team with a terrible offense.

This is my prediction as well. Allows the committee to let OSU in without completely delegitimizing conference championships.

Y'all would like to play Washington . I don't see how Washington would match up well at all. Would likely be a 35-10 game

I would rather face Alabama first. Meyer with a month to prepare is every bit as good as Saban and I expect the kinks to be worked out in that month.

Of course we would. And I think that's how they'll be ranked. Ohio State has a far stronger resume than Washington. It's not even close.

They've done fricked up the playoff and we're barely 3 years into it.

Penn State should be the 4th team. They beat Ohio State and won the conference.

If that is not the top criteria then what should be? They played the game on the field and WON. I don't give a rat's what these "experts" on ESPN think.

Yep. Meyer is better than Saban. They will try to protect Bama though. Just watch.

Any conference is free to eliminate their title game. The NCAA doesn't mandate them.
