Wichita actually can get hot too, but it is a nice time to visit Tuscaloosa.

We actually get hotter than the South a lot of times in Missouri and kansas, especially due to humidity. We certainly have more weather changes. We call our weather "bi-polar" could be snowing one week, 80 the next.

Have you ever been to Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, or SC in the summer?

At least when A&M and Carolina fans bitched at each other about which place was hotter there was a legitimate question

TBH, I think the biggest threat to his visit would not be the weather or the town itself. It is seeing that he will go from being the biggest guy on campus to being consumed in the shadow of Bryant-Denny stadium and what it represents.

Does Missouri play a conference game in the Deep South in September? I would like to see the reaction. I remember Hawaii fans anticipating a game at Alabama in 2006. They said the humidity on the islands would have them ready. I think half the Hawaii roster went down with cramps.

I know it gets bad in Missouri in the summer, and the above isn't a fair comparison, but it's not an endless sweltering heat all summer long in Missouri either.

We don't have much to be proud of in the South. We have to brag about how hot it is.

kansas has much worse summer/winter weather than the deep south ... not even close ... they can go weeks with extreme heat, and get hit by sleet storms in the winter ... anything north of dallas is shiite far as weather goes ...

Wouldn't be the same thing if he went to Texas?

You tell us. You used the ellipsis to signify there is something to it.

Without getting into a pissing match about weather. I think it is probably a non-factor in Marshall's decision making. Most (I'm assuming) of buildings nowadays have AC. Basketball is played in a building, so I think it will be ok.

Y'all should be worried about that flight from Wichita to Austin, considering Shaka isn't singed on with Texas yet.
