Those comments were OK but were too conservative for Mauk....he would have said something like "frick GA, USCe, FL and the rest of them dogs". They'll rue the day they didn't offer me a scholly and a boatload of money to play for them. Hell, they'd be building statues of me all over those states.....frick all of them."

Mizzou won the East fair and square. They should be talking like that.
What should they be saying instead?
"Gee, sorry we won the SECE last year. Don't worry, it won't happen again."

Screw that. I expect some confident talk from the defending SECE Champs.

2013 Florida and Georgia just got riddled with injuries and poor development/coaching on the side of the ball they've struggled with the past 2 seasons.
On another note, the East wasn't exactly "pathetic" this season. 2010 was pathetic.

Our stadium has been expanded and the hill brought in. Its still an intimidating place. Fans are rowdy.
