Any coach that can keep playing LSU's power game and add a good passing game to it would scare the shite out of me.
Under Les they have a giant weakness. If that was fixed they would be a nightmare.

The word "scare" gets thrown out around here a lot. But going with the spirit of the question, there are two coaches in college football that would win in any major program - Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Assuming you couldn't get either of those, there are coaches I think *might* turn LSU back into a national terror. Problem is, the ones with the higher ceiling are the higher risk (like Lane Kiffin or Rocky Long). I like what Rocky Long is doing at San Diego St - we don't hear much about them down here, and their record over the last few years doesn't turn heads because they have a couple losses every year to power 5 teams. But to me, Long is impressive.
