has to be the dumbest coach in college football.I feel sorry for any WV fans.who in the hell calls timeout on second down and 2 seconds on the clock before half time and Col. had the ball.the man looks lost on the sidelines.Pat White should have went to the NFL beause Stewart just going to get him hurt.

i dont exactly remember but wasnt it 4th down for colorado and they were backed up in their own endzone? i guess he was trying to get a punk block or a return. like i said i dont remember really.

now his gameclock management at the end of the 4th quarter was laughable.

maybe he was hoping for a "loss of down" penalty to go against Colorado and that would have resulted in a 1st down for the mounties with no time left on the clock but giving them one last play to shoot for the endzone as half could not end on a penalty.

Oh how they have fallen from all those unrealistic expectations and pre season Top 10 ranking.

Stewart should be a great lesson for those who have ever uttered the words..."he deserves it, he's been patient all these years and has waited his turn"

The announcers were even saying how it was chaos on the sideline at the end of the game.

But,Rodriguez left him so much talent. I thought that was all that mattered. Shouldn't just talent alone win for them ?

yeah, but if you listen to Craig James dumb arse, all the timeout responsibilities should be on Pat Whites back because Stewart and staff is to new to the intricacies of calling timeouts, what a crock of shite.

That's exactly what still concerns me about Miles' decision to promote his assistants to DCs rather than hire a proven DC from another program. Before Pelini was hired, Miles was reportedly ready to bring Lou Tepper clone Bill Clay with him from OSU. Loyalty to a long-time assistant coach is one thing, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are head coach or even head coordinator material.

i dont mind the timeouts at the end of the half.. a little more time and its a good call.... what is weird though is during the time out in overtime he is no where near the team huddle.. even if he is not the offensive coach i still think the head coach should have some input?

He called timeout after second down and third down to try and make Colorado punt. It happens all the time.

The announcers were braindead at the end of regulation. He called a TO on 4th and long with just a few seconds left to set up the hail mary. Had he called it earlier, there would have been too much time on the clock and Colorado would have had a chance to return a punt or block it.
