LSU fans bitched when the SEC had to make cross division opponents a couple of years ago. It was Alabama's turn to have Georgia, but instead LSU got them. LSU can't complain if they lose to Bama, but there was a legitimate beef in this one situation.

This is simple. Go to a 9 game SEC schedule

We played Clemson and were accused of playing another cupcake - and they were ranked number 7.

Lets make it even more simple - If your team hasn't had over a .500 record against SEC teams in the past 3 years, you have no say at all. Yes, that includes Tennessee and Auburn.

I'll make it even simpler. If your team hasn't won a national title since SEC expansion you have no say at all.

OR

If your team took 4 decades to leave the state of Georgia to play a non conference road game, then you have no say at all.

You really don't know much about college football, do you? Your team has easily fit that standard countless times in history. How about you have no say at all for a while.

Barberito Dawg & whoever this Filthydawg is don't speak for Dawgnation...(neither post on the Dawgrant board regularly)

AU vs UGA is a historical rivalry, no one (except a few trolls) wants the DSOR to end any time in the future...

Gotdamn... 55-55-8 after 118 years says it all....

Good to know man! I don't post on here very often either so it kind of took me by surprise. Hope your team stays healthy.

I'd be ok with a 100 percent rotating schedule amongst SEC opponents. Auburn always has a hard schedule with Bama and Georgia at the end of the year, plus the rest of the SECW teams.

A year when Bama and Georgia were not on the schedule would be scwheet. Plus Bama and Georgia virtually never play each other and should.

Put your money where your mouth is then. What is your record against us the past decade? I believe a 3 and 7 are involved.

We also have a SECC and a BCS win. Please fill us in on any Tennessee accomplishments the last decade. I'd love to hear them

I would much rather see UGA play LSU annually than Auburn. The game held value during the Dye/Dooley era but, that's fading out.

I know Auburn needs the game for recruiting purposes but the two schools have been moving in different directions for sometime.

LSU vs UGA would be a hell of an annual party!

As an LSU fan I would 110% support this and would love to change our permanent opponent to UGA.

What about their prestigious TaxSlayer Bowl title that's displayed front-and-center in their football complex?

This is true, but then it's hard to post from ban land dallas...

This sentence topic stated what if UGA was made to end these permanent rivalries and giving LSU as a fair and better replacement option does hold some merit for a point of discussion.

You may not like it, but it's all hypothetical jargon anyhow...

Dawgrant how many years since that silly board turned up its toes 2-3-4 possibly? I surely can't speak for the dead...
