Money is waiting. Who wants a raise from BAMA or your own job?

“My guess is that every coach in Conference USA right now is scared. There is not a better combination of coach and recruiter than Tim Floyd. He is vastly underrated as an Xs and Os guy, and he is a relentless proven recruiter. I’m glad that he has made his way back into college basketball. He is one of those coaches that is fun to watch for a variety of reasons. He is unpredictable in his coaching style, and you don’t know to expect when you go watch a Tim Floyd-coached team. He is not set in his ways. He is a guy who will keep you on your toes and keep opponents guessing. Ultimately with the hiring of Tim Floyd, UTEP won’t miss a beat.”

Hopefully the grim reaper because this animal known as Alabama basketball needs to be put to sleep.....permanently.

it's a destination job. Alabama is the first school that comes to mind when i think of ncaa basketball. so much tradition.

I'd come in guns blazing for Archie Miller. Prohm would be a disappointment.

Frankly, too many eggs were placed in Marshall's basket - but hey, like Auburn, swing for the fences if you think you have a shot. You should just make sure to seal the deal like us next time though.

Luring a guy from a school that is paying him 3.3 million a year where he has been to a final 4 and had a #1 seed is very different than hiring an unemployed guy coming off an NCAA show cause.

Jon Taylor's victim's dad. She recanted because he was offered the bball job.

That's how you use bball to save your football program.

And you thought the AD was an idiot.

Prohm is who it should have been in the first place. Bama let themselves get played by Marshall (who's a massive primadonna) and won't be leaving until a truly "blue blood" job opens up.

Being in the middle of OVC country I've seen Prohm come into his own, dude is going to be an excellent coach for a long time. Should have been what Bama did in the first place but their own arrogance gets in their way.

Timing is everything. I bet that show cause tag doesn't seem too bad this morning.
