Did you even read it?

So you're saying the PD just arrested him based on her story? They didn't look for physical evidence when they made the arrest?

I've never been arrested for such, but it's always been my understanding that her claiming it was all that was needed.

There is nothing fun about domestic violence.

You need help.

Do you really remember it as him slapping her around? If so you need to educate yourself before you use something as a flame.

By law I do not think it matters what she says at this point. They will have to push it through the system.

My point was that "probable cause" to a cop isn't always "probable cause."

Except Upshaw never slapped around a girl, and this girl has personally recanted her story, and you're a bumbling retard.

LOL, the entire community came down on her and her dad basically apologized to the Bama nation for her daughter getting smacked.

It was pathetic and transparent and no rational person would think otherwise. But it's old news, so carry on.

Who cares if she recanted her story? Women who are victims of domestic violence often change their stories and refuse to refuse press charges all the time. They are often afraid of something worse happening to them in the future, or they are dumb enough to believe it will never happen again

This reminds me of a time when I was in the Baptist Hospital ER with my son.......We are there with broken arm and a woman and her husband come running into the ER. He obviously has an abdomen wound, got his stomache wrapped with a towel. She is screaming trying to find a nurse and a wheelchair. She is steady telling him everything is ok, and she's getting him help, patting him on the arm, trying to soothe him....Ends up SHE is the one that stabbed him with a damn kitchen knife. She had all the remorse in the world after she tried to gut her husband. The poor fool just sat there in this blood drenched bath towel.

Dude quit trying to sensationalize my posts. where did I say that anything is fun about DV? I specifically said that it will be fun seeing the media's reaction over them lambasting Saban over something that didn't happen IF she truly lied about him physically harming her. Get off of my nuts, brah.

Damn, Saban needs Taylor really bad. Boosters visit girl and offer large sums of hush money to recant. Tells her she will be arrested to support she was lying but her lawyer will be top notch and the Alumnus judge will dismiss the case for insufficient evidence. Taylor is reinstated and all is good in Tuscaloosa.

The media is smart enough to know that even a lot of women who are abused don't want to press charges. I am guessing the media will be skeptical of why this girl changed her story

Not going to look it up for you, but it was put in place to protect against woman changing their story. Woman would fear for thier lives or their husbands careers, so they would recant their story.

Other fans would be outraged and tearing this woman apart if this were a random guy and this story appeared on the OT. All you'd hear is whining and complaining that bitches make shite up all the time and guys are victims and are presumed guilty. I couldn't care less about Jon Taylor, though.

You choose April Fool's Day to make a post that makes sense. Interesting.

This sounds like classic behavior among abuse victims. They can't leave because they are psychologically dependent on their assailants. Either she is afraid of him or she believes he'll never hit her again if she put things back the way they were before.
