Not even close to accurate, Nike did not tell him to get rid of the logo.

Not my thoughts- passing along what others are saying. I hate Deadspin, but this is intriguing:

I challenge you to find a more incompetent athletic department than Tennessee over the past seven years. It’s unbelievable.

I love Tennessee. It will always be my home and I adore the Volunteers. But between some of our fans and our administration, it's a really stupid place. Said with love.

I'm in the same boat. I love the Vols and Knoxville to death, but I really have a hard time supporting UT with some of the decisions and policies they've made recently.

I'm a UT grad, and I wholeheartedly agree.

In its four biggest sports:

Football [3] Lane Kiffin, Derek Dooley, Butch Jones
Basketball [3] Cuonzo Martin, Donnie Tyndall, TBD
Baseball [2] Todd Raleigh, Dave Serrano
WBB [1] Holly Warlick

If you need a fanbase to walk you through a coaching change, look no further.

If you need an administration to do the hiring, steer fricking clear.

That's gotta be some kind of record.

WBB is totally understandable ... so is baseball.

But good gosh, football and MBB ... that's gotta be some kind of record, especially in this conference.

Football is crazy especially considering we had 2 coaches from 1977 to 2008 (31 years), then we had 3 coaches from 09-14

Tennessee loves Alabama retreads. Look for Hart do back up a dump truck full of money to Anthony Grant.

Majors was hired in 1977 when he left Pittsburgh? I did not realize it ... but yeah, I guess so. Right after Dorsett won the Heisman.

Fulmer cursed y'all though when he back-stabbed Johnny while Johnny was getting-over the heart attack.

Good gosh, I remember when UT fans were screaming for Johnny's head after the '86 and '88 seasons ... I was surprised he made it to '92 honestly.

What's even crazier, and I mean this in all sincerity, is if you look at UT's entire record up until around 2005 I think it was ... and from 2005 since. Basically the last ten years. Y'all had to average 9 or 10 wins a season through most of your history and I'd be surprised if you even averaged 7 wins a season over the last ten years.

Yeah, y'all gotta regain that stability you used to enjoy at UT. If not Butch, it could get really crazy. But I think he might do okay.

There's always been a lot of overlap between Bama and UT's AD, it's part of what made the rivalry so fierce

Yeah you're right Ole Miss was the only school in America this past year to make it to Omaha, a NY6 Bowl and March Madness. Also Ole Miss isn't located in the Appalachian Mountains so we win again.

This might be the most comical thing I've read on here- I've been here a while.
