There's a reason an extraordinary amount of ex Blues and Cardinals make it their lifetime home.

You don't know the first thing about this city.

You left out:

quote:

The witness noted that the people who helped Ford by giving him ice, calling 911 and writing down Street’s license plate were white.

There's your difference between Fenton and Ferguson.

I wonder if Jason Heyward realizes he's going to be the premier, and only black athlete in this city during a race war.

Jason Heyward is a good man and was a great asset to the city of Atlanta. We will miss him for a few reasons, but his bat mostly. Braves will suck this year.

I follow the rams because of the AU link with Tre Mason and Greg Robinson. I do hope the Rams stay in St. Louis. STL is a great sports town. A particularly great baseball town.

Somehow the racial shite needs to stop.

After getting to go to a Rams home game last season, I concur

Any time a Black guy gets his arse kicked he swears, "they were yelling racial slurs."

At a gas station? I'm sure they had security cameras. Show us the video of the alleged assault.

I call bullshite. There is no way a guy just punched him out of no where for no reason.

Meh. Dude had a record for assault. Sounds like they might have initially jockeyed for a pump, but then the guy didn't even pump gas. Lots of white trash in Fenton. But don't go thinking they only sucker punch blacks. This guy just happened to be black.

You might be the only one that thought anyone was drawing a comparison between Fenton and Ferguson. Having said that, those people were probably from Wildwood stopping for gas at the gas station.

Meh. Like 808, wouldn't even be a story if it wasn't a former Cardinal. As a former Cardinal, he has no reason to make that up. I got a friend who lives in a newer part of Fenton and back at the time of the real riots he came home to find out the local KKK had handed out flyers in the neighborhood. So I don't doubt there was some lone racist that got stupid. It was 12:30. He had probably spent 4 hours already getting liquored up at the Queen of Hearts.

Between the rising unemployment, the Rams impending departure and the looming potential fora serious race war to go down this summer in seems St. Louis is on the Detroit self-destruction plan.

Rams leaving has nothing to do with the fan base. Nothing. They've been the worst professional sports team over the last decade, and the numbers still aren't bad enough to warrant departure. It has nothing to do with anything beside an owner with an alternative agenda.

Unemployment.. as if it's not an issue almost everywhere.

The arrogance people have when talking about a place they're clueless about is bewildering.

You think the whole state of Mo is a shithole, so this doesn't surprise me coming from you. Most of this shite is a planned, concerted effort by race baiters and outside influence. The media loves stirring shite up as it gives them a story. I don't go to St Louis much, but it's not a bad city, just some local thuggish frickheads (that you can find anywhere) and outside anarchist taking advantage of a situation to push their racist agenda.

I'm just glad I live on the other side of the state and don't have to put up with this bs.

No he doesn't. It's easy to sit back in bumfrick Bentonville and point fingers.
