Play for Kentucky or play to knock them off of the throne. Either way, you will be famous.
Seems like Holland had just enough time off to get fired up and come out swinging.

Someone tell me what being an Adidas kid means.

These big companies, Nike, Adidas, sponsor these AAU teams, so that eventually, when the kids make it they will sign with the company that sponsored them.
Kentucky has signed plenty of kids because of the Nike brand that they carry so well.
Apparently Adidas has dubbed us their basketball school. Why, I don't know but it's pretty fricking exciting.

It's a good hire and he'll definitely have y'all competitive in tSEC in a few years. Y'all should be making tournaments again with regularity.

There isn't a single Adidas basketball school in the southeast. Louisville, UCLA, Michigan really the only other big ones anyway.

Well...A&M.
Adidas also has Kansas, Wisconsin and Indiana. They are a much bigger presence in college basketball than football.

Yeah I wouldn't consider A&M a basketball school though. There are a lot of recruits that come out of the southeast and there is really nobody south of Louisville to sweep them up.

Not sure how ya'll missed it be we were an adidas pipeline school under Stans and remember us picking up Adidas AAU you kids all the time. It might be amplified now with Adidas pouring some money in to it, but we've been doing it for a while. I'm also willing to bet Rick Ray didn't play that game.

The good news is that Tennessee is no longer an Adidas school.

Will someone that follows recruiting start a thread on bball for all the changes that are currently happening. I am interested again, but not enough to join a recruiting site. K thanks. Already seeing tweets about new visits and the staff isn't even in place yet.

It was pretty much the same thing.
According to twitter, his salary will average 2.05/yr.

Yes.
Howland pretty much wacked off to all things MSU and went into exuberant detail reciting his love for Mississippi State. Made a lot of mentions of our football program. Half of his speech was probably about recruiting, you can tell he means to make a big splash with a lot of high talent. He said his basketball focus is defense but also pushing the ball on offense. He also expressed the need to have the best homefield advantage possible and make the Hump a daunting place to play again. He means to do everything possible to exhaust every opportunity to get fans and students inside the Hump for games. He dodged questions from the media about his relationship with players at the end of his UCLA tenure.
