"Improvement" under Kennedy

Let's recap the "improvement":

Season 1 - The team was full strength and lost to Rice at home (ranked #22 in the polls 1 game before that Rice loss - snapped a 67-game nonconference home win streak). After starting 8-1, the team cratered and went 6-17 the rest of the way. 3 players leave the team.

Season 2 - Marginal improvement of the overall record (14-18 to 18-15), but when you look at the same terrible pre-con losses to horrid teams (Southern at home), you have to wonder if the 4 game improvement wasn't simply because we majorly downgraded the competition, trading 18 games against one of the best conferences for 18 games in one of the worst major conferences. 3 more players leave the team.

Season 3 - Worse record than season 2 (18-15 vs 18-16). Same terrible losses to really bad teams. (one can debate that the 20 point UNT loss was far worse than Rice or Southern) 2 more players leave the team and Cyprien is fired.

Season 4 - Finally, no terrible nonconference losses (oh, hi auburn). We are at 20 wins and in the NIT.
