The SEC West as it is currently constructed has existed for three years. Here are the win totals for all SEC West teams during the entire course of its existence:

Alabama: 36 wins
]A&M: 28 wins
LSU: 28 wins
Miss St: 25 wins
Ole Miss: 24 wins
Auburn: 23 wins
Arkansas: 14 wins

Now, when we look at this data, Bama is clearly the big winner. Arkansas is the big loser. Then, we have lower tier group consisting of Auburn, Ole Miss, and Miss St. Finally, we have LSU and A&M. Will one of the programs be able to pull into first or take the 2nd spot for itself? Of course, the Chief concern here is the ability of Kevin Steele to continue his success at Clemson. Will he be able to maintain a similar level of defensive play? That question will go a long way to determining what this chart looks like in three more years.

Though I'm not a big fan of the hire,LSU's D > A&M D for the foreseeable future.

SEC championship is harder to win than an NCAA championship so it is more precious

The admins have lost control of this board.

I blame Helen Hunt for losing control of the Georgia football team.

Don't confuse the fact that you don't like the substance with the claim that there is no substance. The data is right there in the original post - the collective win totals of each SEC West team over the entire course of the existence of the SEC West as it is currently constructed. That's real substance - you just don't like it.

Have SEC Championships since the new SEC West was formed.

Lol. We all know why you're using total wins and not SEC wins here. Nice try.

you should really throw out the non-cons for these type of comparisons, or at least include that status as well.

Alabama - 21-3
LSU - 15-9
A&M - 13-11
Miss St - 13-11
Ole Miss - 11-13
Auburn - 11-13
Arkansas - 4-20

It's not that much different

But for an ignored offsides penalty, it'd be almost exactly the same. But for a broken thumb and an ignored offsides penalty, A&M and LSU would be flipped.
