Semantics. The 3rd and 4th place teams are tied. GENERALLY, you would say they are tied for third. However, I choose to say they are tied for 4th, which, technically, is not false.
Just like you would GENERALLY use SEC records to compare teams in a division, but the OP chooses not to.

I get the feeling we're missing the forrest for the trees. Sure, the charts are very close in construction. Let's not argue about how close.
Instead, let's look to the future. As an LSU fan, are you excited to see if Steel can produce at a similar level that we saw with his last DC job? If he does, are you hopeful that LSU will soon be able to distance itself from A&M on these lists? These are exciting times!
