I think our secondary will be improved over the last two seasons, mainly because we should have some actual depth (fingers crossed) and won't be so reliant on freshmen and walkons. I'm not sure I'd rate us #2 at this point. We didn't face many good quarterbacks last season, and we got abused by some mediocre ones like Dylan Thompson, Brandon Allen, and Justin Worley. The tackling was also an issue at times and I believe that will be better in 2015.

If Shattle Fenteng can live up to his billing that will be a huge plus. I'm hoping that Malkom Parrish makes progress toward becoming a physical cover corner. Also, would be very nice if Tramel Terry and Reggie Wilkerson are healthy and in the mix at safety. Looking at our recruits, I'm not sure I see anyone who will be a big contributor in the seconary right away (maybe Briscoe?), but it would be nice if one or two were ready to contribute.

Our ILB pass coverage didn't help out our secondary last year...let's hope the new guys are an improvement.

Briscoe, McGraw, Baker, Abram, Jarvis Wilson, and Choates all have a chance to contribute in the secondary imo. Obviously not all of them will, but at least 3-4 in some capacity imo
