Maybe a bit expensive though, and a little impractical.
Maybe for OT poors like yourself.

From the pitcutes, I count about 20 lofts.
That's 1.4M in year one if they all sell out including the deposit.
I'm guessing the deposit is like a seat license. If not, it's $1M in year one. Still not bad at all.

I'm sure the average Mississippi State fan is gonna spend in excess of $50,000/year on 30 home baseball games, piv

Where will they play during construction?
Its not exactly an extremely large stadium they could probably do most of it in one offseason and if not they could just space it out to 2 years to complete.

A $20,000 deposit is required for the Left Field Lofts™. The cost of each unit will be $50,000 per year with a minimum commitment of five years plus a monthly service and maintenance fee.
I was wondering how much this was going to cost. That's really expensive, but im sure they'll sell.

That looks great. If all the lofts fill up, a la the Cockaboose at USC, it will be great. If not, that part will be a bust. Hope it all works out though.

quote:I think that football would be a big part of the attraction. Starkville has limited lodging options, so, to be able to get a condo actually on campus might appeal to some wealthy, diehard MSU fan who doesn't live close to Starkville. It's certainly an interesting concept, and one which might be duplicated in other college towns if it proves successful. Nearest similar set up that I'm aware of is the condos at Texas Motor Speedway.
I think the LFL would be pretty cool, but man that seems like alot of money for a baseball suite. That's almost $2K per game. How far is it from the football stadium? Guess if you could stay there during football season as well it would justify it a little more.

Without the deposit, it's $4166 per month for a two bedroom loft. Yeah, it's cool for the games but that's a lot of coin for a two bedroom especially in Starkville. I can only see corporate money being spend there but does Starkville have that much corporate money to go around?
And for a baseball venue? A no brainer for football. But that a lot of money for a corporate frick pad. But those bedrooms would come in handy during the seventh inning stretch.

I am hoping Trustmark Park in Pearl.

most of our corporate sponsors are from all over the state. They will sell.

Bama should do the LFL idea too. ITs nothing but parking lot out past our outfield. Easy to build.
During football season that is a big RV lot and a pretty good party the night before a big game. LFL would add to that.
would also sell very easily.

quote:They really want to get it done in between seasons. We don't have the luxury of being within 50 miles of Hoover like Alabama. It could be done if enough money is thrown at it. It might not be finished but it could be made usable in just 8 months or so. Maybe play a few road series early like all of the northern teams have to do. That is what I was told back during football season by a person that would know.
I am hoping Trustmark Park in Pearl.

Lofts are expensive but I guarantee you they will all be occupied. State is a baseball school and always has been. They don't have a national title but there's not a school in the SEC that cares more about baseball than them.

There's no way unless they work 24/7 all year long with no breaks.

FAQ sez 18-20 months construction so a full season will take place during construction (not exact wording)...
maybe they'll be able to play there...
