City manager sent an email last night saying all offices closed today. There isn't a drop of precipitation on the road but hey, I'll take it!

Yeah, it's showing just rain and that's it. Not really sure where this snow is supposed to be coming from. I think last year's debacle is causing them to jump the gun on this one.

Did yall not learn anything about Weatherunderground last week when they said it wasn't going to drop below freezing?
Wunderground is an advertising vehicle for generic NWS data.
They dont do forecasting.

I'm totally freaked out... it's like... it's like rain but it's, frozen? But Weatherunderground said it wasn't going to dip below 33 over the next few days....

Ignore everything from all other posters, DDD is the master. Although lately he's been dumbing down his forecasts because too many people are too stupid to understand or read it all. It's disappointing, but he is still very accurate.

I hope I'm not either, but the place I'm working right now is a real craphole. They consider missing two days a year as "continual missing of work" and "grounds for termination". That seems to include excused absences.

Yeah, my parents live that way and they keep sending me pics. Quite frankly I don't care how much or what falls here, I just want at least tomorrow morning off.
