Anderson is the next Coach K but dumbfricks are patient enough to give him time to become that kind of coach.

You are so full of contradictions. People dont accept the results from this years basketball team and they need to "stfu" yet you blabber on and on about Pinkel and anyone that defends him is some kool aid drinking homer.

Im having a hard time understanding why you cant respectfully disagree with your fellow Mizzou fans.

Anderson: minor league experience in division 2 as a head coach before coming to major college Mizzou. I don't know of any coaches that were successful at a major college basketball program within a couple of years after having come from division 2. And by successful, I mean NCAA tourney qualifying teams.
The reason for that is simple. The differences are enormous. Recruiting is vastly different, facilities are vastly different, the pressure and expectations are much greater. The scrutiny alone makes the job much tougher. None of that is Anderson's fault. You can't blame the guy for wanting the job. He'll get at least another year and maybe even a third. If we aren't back to the tourney by then I think he'll be gone.
This is a Mizzou discussion board for all things Mizzou. Anderson and his performance will be discussed. That's why we're here. If you don't like it, you don't have to participate.

But the other side of the coin is that lots of guys who have been arse'ts in D-1 programs have been successful as a HC. Anderson has many years as a D-1 arse't. He's not someone who has languished his whole career in some lowly D-2 school.
And I submit that one can't be an awful coach and still win a national championship...even if it's D-2.
But again, next year will give us a better picture. I'm just hoping for a couple more wins before this season is over.

KA was on with Cusumano today. I don't know if it was a slip of the tongue, brain fart or if he already knows something, but he had made the comment that we'll only have 1 senior next year. He later corrected himself and said I guess we'll have Bello and Rosburg back. After that he went on to talk about college kids transferring and said he hopes ours stay but wouldn't be surprised if some transfer. Really sounds to me like he knows something already.

Bello leaving wouldn't hurt this team.
If that's one of the transfers that are rumored, it could be an ok off-season.

How many games do y'all think this team wins if they had no coaching staff at all? Just 11 guys going out and hooping it up. Over/Under at their current win total of 8.
