I think that's optimistic. We need to go on a real nice run to get in. I just don't think 10-8 gets us in.

Did we go up after beating Florida and losing to Arkansas?

we have some nice wins but we also have 3 horrible losses in mizzou, state and auburn.

Those 3 games are really pissing me off. this team would be in excellent position if they even win 2/3 of those.

LSU has wins over Ole Miss and UGA so A&M game will be huge and beating Ark would help a lot as well but I don't see LSU winning in Hog Land.

LSU is in double elimination mode right now, 2 more losses is about all LSU can afford w/o a deep run in the tourney

No, Ole Miss stayed the same in Palm. Were a 9 seed last week as well.

Ah okay, I knew we were a 10 on ESPN, hopefully that doesn't go down. A 10 seed would sure be nice.

LSU is done if they lose to Auburn again.

Losing to aTm or Arkansas doesn't hurt, but if the Tigers go to Auburn and leave with a loss, that will probably be all she wrote.

So LSU and the Aggies need to catch fire here at the end to be safe about getting in the tourney. Doable, but tough. It would certainly help both teams to make a good run into the SEC tournament. Best of luck to you both.

the odd thing is our most complete games have occurred on the road this year. We have the 2 ugly losses on the road but we also have raped UF and UT on their own floors plus beating wvu and ole miss at their place.

Better an 8 or 9 then nothing, but a potential second round game vs a number 1 seed is nasty.

it is but I don't feel like there is a team we can't beat if we play well. We took the best team in the country to the wire. Then again any 1 seed could also blow us out by 25. I think we present a unique problem when Martin and Mickey are on. We have decent size, we just lack a basketball iq that is even in the teens.

even as a 7 or 10 we still have to play a 2 seed in the next round. I look at it as it doesn't matter when we play a top seed because it has to happen eventually anyways.

Well he didn't mark Georgia down...but they are now on the bubble after the Auburn loss.

deep run in the tourney

Conference Tournaments have little to do with the NCAA tournament committee. The NCAA tournament committee looks at the yearlong body of work.

I think 10-8 would get us in as long as we dont lose @ Auburn and win 1 or 2 SEC tourney games.

Yeah every year people make way too big of a deal out of the tournament. It doesn't really matter very much unless you win the thing.

No, not really.

Georgia has a SOS of 30 and an RPI of 32 according to warren nolan.
