I was just looking at our last 10 games on the schedule. They are all games we could win. The toughest two being at LSU this weekend and UGA at home. IF (I can't believe I'm allowing myself to even think this) we go on a winning streak and win 8 of the last 10, that puts us at 22-10.
So what percentage chance would you put on that happening?
If we finish with that record or better, we got a chance to get in, right?

Look, its been a long time since I had hope in Bama making the NCAA tourney in Feb. Let me have this moment.

8/10 + an SEC tourney win might get us on the bubble.

I think we only have 9 regular season games left.

Chances of winning 7 of 9? Not good considering the way we've played on the road.

Even if we did manage 7 of 9, although our overall and conference record would look good, we would have very few real quality wins similar to 2 years ago. I think we would not only need a win in the SECT but a win against a quality opponent to have a chance to make the NCAAT

if we went 7-2(only 9 games left). We would be 11-7 in conference and still need some help. Unfortunately the best thing that can happen is for this team to finish 9-9 or worse. Not make the nit and move on to another era of basketball. Oh yeah and figure out a way to get kessens some non-concrete shoes.

7-2 and a win in the SEC tournament gets us in the play in game at worst I'd think. If we could somehow beat LSU Saturday then I'd actually think we might could do it.

Sadly it's looking more and more that the long term health of this program would involve not going dancing this year.

I would love to see it happen but im just soo tired of seeing the same shite out of these teams. Mainly the lack of rebounding.

Silly Question

My first grade teacher use to say there is no such thing as a silly question.

Then again, maybe there was a reason she was stuck teaching first grade.

Every little bit helps:

@rollbamaroll: UA's win looking better on the postseason résumé RT @ESPNAndyKatz: Don't look now but UCLA is making a run toward an NCAA tournament bid.

Have you seen how this team is coached?

KenPom has us as 60% or better favorites in 5 of our next 6.

I don't think it will happen, but there is a decent chance we are sitting at 8-7 and 18-10 going into the @ Vandy, Ole Miss, @ A&M stretch. That will probably put us somewhere at 50 in the RPI, and while we will be on the far outside looking in.........it terrifies me that it might save Grant's job.

I could see that happening. And then again the next year. CAG will wind up coaching Bama for 15 years in which we make the big dance twice and the NIT ten times

I can already read the Battle Plan

"4 of the last 5 seasons 20+ wins"
"4 of the last 5 seasons postseason appearances"
"a great young core of players"
"a great man"
"a 55% win percentage in the SEC"

Maybe I'm just paranoid.

@CecilHurt: Ricky Tarrant "continues to improve" per Alabama coach Anthony Grant, but injury will keep him out of tomorrow's game at LSU. #AlabamaBKB

Our chances just went down immensely
