The problem with 247 is they will keep the committed guys low usually. Especially someone who they know will stay committed. They want the top guys to be uncommitted. You'll have more traffic if the top 25 has 20 uncommitted guys. Because you'll have fans of multiple teams going to a kids page. 95% of the traffic on Patterson's page is Ole Miss fans.

Rivals does the same. They have a big Ole Miss userbase, so most of the OM commits are ranked higher there. You pander to your audience.
