So you aren't delusional then. You're in denial.
Every fanbase has people like that. Growing up around BR and going to LSU, I've met quite a few LSU fans that are as bad as any others.

Both of the beliefs that I identified are false, and both are frequently displayed by many Bama fans, both on this site and in real life. Pretending this is not true is also delusional.
This has nothing to do with the actual quality of your football program.

After two and a half years of catching holy hell on the board while the Hogs wandered in the desert, yes, we talked some trash when we stomped LSU and Ole Miss. Of course we did.
See, the thing is, going through that has actually made most of the Arkansas fans on this board the least delusional group. When you see people predicting who does what next season a lot of folks put the Hogs near the top of the West. Most Arkansas fans, meanwhile, are saying we'd be pretty happy with somewhere in the middle and showing progress. We know we are still recovering from what we went through.
My all seeing psychic vision once again predicts that when we do lose some games next year, and we will because our road schedule is not looking friendly, everyone on here will talk about how delusional we were before the season. Meanwhile if we wind up with more wins and the program is improving we'll be as happy as pigs in... well... the SEC.

I can tell you without a doubt that Alabama basketball fans (which are mostly us alums) are the opposite of delusional. We have serious beaten fan syndrome.

I actually don't think it is Arkansas. Their poster's that rustle jimmies know they have been down and that is why they can strategically start threads that rustle. That being said, I will go with TAMU. The reason being, their Jekyll and Hyde program can look like world beaters at times and then get beat down the next week. They also have a strong fanbase which causes a false sense of security that they cannot fail. Now, I like both schools so don't be mad.

I remember during Thanksgiving in 2011, my cousin's boyfriend at the time (Bama fan) said Alabama would probably beat the Saints. The same Saints team that broke a number of NFL offensive records that season. Keep in mind that this was also only a few weeks after 9-6. I was in shock and tried to argue that they couldn't beat ANY NFL team, but he refused to backdown on his point. Now HE was delusional. The rest of my Alabama family, not so much.

Arkansas easily.
Alabama's fans can be mouthy and obnoxious at times, but the team has been backing it up for the most part here lately.
