It would be unlikely she would stay on the playoff committee if she becomes the President at Alabama. She would probably be replaced with a another Pac 12 rep, but with her being from the South she probably would have been more SEC-friendly than whoever may replace her, if that is the case.

Na they would get another southern influence on there. Did they ever replace Manning?

I'd love it. She should be off the committee, but you couldn't ask for a classier lady to run the school.

This isn't a "rumor", it comes from one op-ed on AL.com that a guy said she would be the perfect fit.

LINK

He even says "I'm officially throwing her name out"

She would be a good fit and would instantly increase the standing of the school nationally, simply due to her name.

However, and this is not trying to say anything bad about Bama, while she might be interested because it is her home state school, I would see her fitting in better with the higher academic schools like Stanford, Vandy, Duke, one of the Ivy League schools. With her intelligence and her credentials, I do not see her taking the helm of any state school be it Bama, Auburn, UGA, UNC, etc.

I'd rather she was the 2016 Republican candidate for President.
