That said, if I'm Pinkel I immediately start formulating a plan to get an heir apparent to Kuligowksi. Once the eye starts to wander, it's probably only a matter of time anyway.
The first thought would be to add recent DL grad like Matt Hoch (or similar) to the staff as a grad assistant. Let him work under Kul and Odom in preparation for when/if Coach Kul leaves and promote from within to maintain DLineZou.
Although I never vocalized it, I always expected an SEC school to be the one to try to poach Kul, not some low level B1G school. I'm not sure what to make of it, other than the feeling (based on a Matter intereview on 920 today) that the administration was slow on giving Kul the raise he deserved, so he pressed the issue by ginning up interest from Illinois.
I'm just glad Kul stayed. Now let's get Terry Beckner Jr. in the fold as the cherry on top of the best recruiting class in Missouri history.

Pitts looks to have a head start as far as former DL players getting on staff at Mizzou. Hoch may not get drafted but will get into some traing camp.

Dude, my dad lives out here now, and watches the fricking STL news on his ipad, (I shite you not), and still bitches about the fricking Illinois News Teams.
