Agreed. we may lose him after next season even but now he'll be using his head and not his heart. A full DC job in the acc or pac 12 seem like a good move in a few years for him. Glad to have him stay!

Yeh. I read through pretty much the whole meltdown, but it was more like a deflation. They just got the air let out of their balloon. I think GP took care of his family today. I'm sure they probably had one of those father son talks also. Something like "Don't you ever do that to me again!" Heard Pinkel was pissed and rightfully so. He and the rest of the staff has worked their asses off to build this thing and it's going in a positive direction and now this.
Glad CKool made the right choice and stayed on.

A guy I work with is an Illinois fan. They really do hate Mizzou and I think its funny as hell. Whats even more funny is that they accept their lot in life and the hate its driven by pure jealousy.

Growing up in STL, I hated Illinois more than Kansas.
My dad would always bitch while watching the local news. "Why in the hell does a St. Louis, Missouri station have a goddamn Illinois news team?"
I always agreed.
"Jeff George is a pussy", he would say.
I always agreed.
Back in the day before Missouri had the lottery, my dad would throw me in the car and say, "I have to go to Illinois to buy some lottery tickets and take a shite."
By god, the man stood by his word, running scratchers in the gas station bathroom.
Ok, I made that last part up, but yeah frick Illinois.

Not my point. Just curious if he has ever entertained coaching. I don't know much about Justin beyond what he does on the field. It would seem that if he had an interest, that his experience and everything would be invaluable as a college coach. Was more just talking out loud.

I laughed. Honestly I could take your post and put Kansas in there instead. Almost the same thing, just the other side of the state. My dad still bitches about Kansas drivers, driving across Kansas (had relatives in Colorado), bitched about all the shite they would get before us, and oh yeh, especially the news. If it didn't happen in Kansas, they didn't talk about it. You could set a damn nuclear bomb off in Missouri and they would report some kid getting a traffic ticket in Kansas.
