Wouldn't that make you nervous as a recruit? Not knowing who your OC is going to be until after NSD...

I'd imagine the recruits already know, or at least have a really good idea, who the OC will be.

Recruits keep tweeting out, "We aren't through yet," and things of that nature, insinuating that they already know of an additional recruit or two that will sign with UT on NSD. I think CBJ keeps them all very much in the loop.

Preston Williams said himself that he had to know who the new OC was going to be. Shortly after he visits Auburn wearing UT gear trying to recruit players.

I trust Butch will make the right hire.

If it would effect this years class very much I feel like they would've had a hire by now

Could it be someone from the Seahawks or Patriots? Sorry I haven't read the rest of the thread if it's already been discussed.

It could def. be a pro guy. CBJ listed the NFL as an aspect of what he's looking for.

Most of the thread has been about the pluses and minuses of DeBord who has been listed as a frontrunner and hung out all weekend as well as with key players but the fact that he hasn't been hired yet is kinda odd, imo.

At this point, I haven't a clue.

I could be wrong since there's been sooo many candidates on our list BUT I believe he signed an extension during the process and that he's out. Again I could be wrong so TIFWIW.

He's turned down other schools, but I haven't seen anything about an extension being signed.

I don't think the Boise st guy signed an extension Matt Canada from NC State signed a 3 year extension the other day which ruled him out of the running for the OC position.

Is this search really being held so close to the vest? Awesome if so.

I will get e-shat on for this, but I think Dave Hart has done a pretty decent job; however, Geraldo Rivera would've looked like a genius after Hamilton.

We r in the minority but I have almost zero complaints with Hart

I think a lot of the heat he gets builds steam from the retard segment of the fanbase who doesn't like him SOLELY bc he came from Bama (a truly ridiculous notion) and then builds momentum from there

I'm not trying to insult any of our posters here cause I can't really think of a single one I don't like and respect but I think most of the ppl who hate on Hart are of the less knowledgeable segment of fans

every fan base deals with them

Hart has been really good so far. Butch and Donnie are both great hires thus far... a lot can change, especially for Tyndall, but I am confident in Hart.

Hart had Tyndall vetted. This whole thing with the NCAA is BS since he consulted with them before the hire and they ok'd it
