The young 3b prospect we got seems like a good one

I don't even think we're rebuilding, we're just blowing shite up and leaving the rubble laying around.

It seems that way. I have to laugh or I'll cry.

Mike Foltynewicz RHP
Rio Ruiz 3B

2 names I have seen. Mike will be a very good bullpen player eventually. Rio Ruiz is a solid potential lefty.

Our Farm system is going to have talent all over the place. However, the big league club is going to have to rely heavily on pitching and situational hitting. We won't have much power.

This is a total mail-in job and I don't get it. I mean, fir Fredi or keep him, but if you choose the latter then at least try to make it work. They're setting the guy up for a huge fall so why nto just fire him and completely rebuild? What are they waiting on? The new stadium? How does a new venue have any bearing on performance? Are they rerouting old salaries to the construction or something?

I'm fine with mailing it in and starting over. I just wish they would keep trading. This seasons roster was going nowhere.

Rosenthal and Bowman are saying it's not done yet. Names are still being thrown around and he could still go elsewhere, though it looks like it's Houston.

And this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone here. He was obvious trade bait as soon as he started producing. He's the most prototypical DH there's been since David Ortiz. I'm surprised it's taken this long to trade him.

I like all these trades based off the simple fact that we could use these prospects in two ways in the future. If they develop properly then great, they will fit into our already young team in 2017, or let's say when these guys are progressing rapidly, we are winning games, we could essentially trade them for a big name to help us compete. The bottom line is that we had to get our farm system rebuilt to bring us back to what the Braves have always been and what Wren tore down. I respect Wren for trading prospects to get big time players but the cold hard truth is that it didn't work out. Now another plus (kinda) is that we literally can't be much worse than we were last year. What were we, like 29th in scoring? And to me our pitching has improved tremendously over the off season along with guys getting more mature so it would not surprise me if we have more runs scored and a better team ERA. However, our division has improved greatly with the Marlins making moves so I can also see us having a much worse record. I trust Hart and co. to turn this around. Go bravos.

Solid strikeout numbers if he can cut down on the walks. This is a haul Gattis honestly. He should be a DH.

If you are truly rebuilding, then you need to unload Kimbrel and get as much as we can for him now.

Bruh, Braves are on a roll with HOF pitchers. We're riding the Kimbrel train all the way to another jersey retirement.

The likelihood of getting a great return on a Closer seems limited. I guess we could try and see what the market looks like but I can't imagine a team giving up great prospects for a 1 inning player.
