According to Kiper, Golden is dropping like a rock. Compared it to Sam.

Morrison update on draft status of Mizzou guys.

Ray still looking like a likely top 10-12 pick.
Golden fallen to a 3rd-5th rounder.
Morse up to a 3rd-5th rounder.
DGB still hovering between 1st and 2nd round.
Murphy - Still 7th Rd to UDFA.
Sasser - Same as Murphy

White, Hunt, Webb and Vincent still not projected to get drafted.

Why is Golden dropping so hard? Physical problems/injuries? I still think someone will get a steal with him.

Because physically and combine-wise he's not much different from Sam.

Measurables. I still think someone takes a chance on him pre-7th round. I think he becomes a steal for someone.

It's part of the reason I think the NFL is turning to shite. It's all about the measurables and not about results. Perfect example but the opposite end of the spectrum...Blaine Gabbert. He had all of the measurables but none of the results. Net result...he got drafted early, got over paid and has been one of the biggest draft busts in some time.

Conversely, a guy like Golden doesn't have the measureables like arm length but I will stand by my point. In college, he was still blowing up the very same guys that would be trying to block him in the NFL. Same BS with Sam if you ask me. He showed well in the preseason games he played in. But his measurables weren't there. Oh, and he's gay.

Yea, if you did a redraft of the '14 draft Gaines would of gone top couple rounds.

Exactly. He was the steal of that draft.
