This is a huge deal. Glad he's returning

No link yet, but he is suppose to announce tomorrow

Will believe it when I see it, but this would be huge for our chances next year.

GOAT Front 7 incoming

Seriously though, how are you saying this with certainty if he doesn't announce until tomorrow?

Is that your AmEx Black Card? Are you Dan Henderson? There's a reason I'm asking that has nothing to do with status of AmEx Black.

Twitter source close to the program?

Am I the only one who doesn't think he's all that special?
He's obviously not a bad player, but he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as other guys we've developed in the last few seasons.
I was kind of hoping he would declare so we could get busy developing the next great one.
Meh.

I think he is the next great one, he just isn't there yet.
I don't think he's in CJ/Dont'a/Ro's tier yet, but I think he's already above the Nico tier.
He can get close to that top tier with another season. He's a monster against the run and not just in between the tackles, he can work the run sideline to sideline. He's a good blitzer.
He'll never really be a good cover guy, but he can develop a little bit in that department.
ETA: Plus we've always returned 1 of our starting ILBs under Saban, at least. We need his experience in the middle.

you have to understand how important it is for a starting linebacker to back that has as much talent as he has. but yes, you might be the only person that doesn't think that he is really good.

If true, this is huge. He is the key to our defense next with the sick line playing in front of him.

I respectfully disagree. I'm pulling for him though.
Once upon a time you'd have a better chance of waking up on the moon than having a 100 yard rusher against Alabama.

That really wasn't his fault though. He was good all season, even had 10.5 TFL. But you can have your opinion, and I can have mine.

Out of 14 games how many 100 yard rushers this seasons? Two? That means 12 teams did not. And the 85 yard run ohio ripped off? Yeah, Ragland wasn't in the game...no coincidence either. Ragland blew up backs better than any ILB we have had since Rolo IMO.

Yeah I haven't looked at the stats but I thought we did very well against the run this year. Ragland was a big reason why

Shaun Hamilton or Reuben Foster might take his place. The ones who gave up the long run against tOSU.
Sure you want to see more of those plays next year?
