Is it time for Tennessee and LSU to switch places again?

It is clearly against the laws of science for LSU and Tennessee to be elite football programs at the same time. The last eclipse was 2001 as LSU entered the upper echelon of the college football world. Tennessee fell to the same depths of despair that plagued LSU in the 90's.

Over ten years have passed since the last great switch. Have the stars aligned? Is it time for LSU and Tennessee to change places once again?

Vols weren't elite from 01 to 08 but they were far from garbage. You're drastically stretching out our dormant period.

Yeah, we are a better program than LSU. Don't lump us in with the rest of the pack.

No. But he was just awful. That's what we get for hiring someone with a career losing record at La Tech.

Don't ever post his pic again.

From 1990-1999, LSU was 54-58

From 2005-2014, UT was 64-61

It's really close.
