Rough Bowl Season - How do you deal with a loss?

For me, it's been pretty simple. When you have an amazing wife who is not a football fan, it's really quick to get perspective, as well as a bit of sexy time.
Aside from that, it depends on how the game went. If I'm irritated at what looked like a game we should have won, time to load up some Call of Duty or GTA V. IF we looked just like the inferior team, I've got videos of kittens bookmarked, and Lil Bub.
Never been a fan of alcohol as a mechanism for it. I'm a happy drunk, so that would be a plus, but apparently I'm also a talkative one. I'm already naturally so annoying, I don't need to chemically enhance it.

In an attempt to not derail this thread into "wouldn't know, we won our bowl game," I'll play along.
1) Continue Breaking Bad on Netflix. Went on a break for football season.
2) Winter/spring DIY projects at the house. Same here with wife not a football fan - have to pay my dues this offseason so I can devote my full attention to next year's 8-5 / 7-6 season.

You come to the realization that it really is just a game and not something to make death threats about, commit murder or vandalize property.

Not think about football for a few days and then get excited about recruiting and follow our DC search.

I don't have nearly so many with us renting. We're looking at getting a house in a year or two, and I can imagine that my "honey do" list will grow exponentially.

It's a game. It's an awesome game. I congratulate the team that beat us and take pride in what my team did.

Bowl loss makes for a long off season. Hunting season is over. Time to start getting the boat ready for fishing season.
