Who here thought we would be in the playoffs in August?

Not me.

Does it suck? Yes. Did we have the potential to go the NC Game?

Yes.

But damnit, I'm proud as hell of our guys and we will be fine.

This is the best rebuilding year ever. I'm fine with the outcome.

Team never quit, loved the effort. Just gave up too many big plays

I thought our defense would perform better this year. I'm not mad but sincerely disappointed.

We are losing a lot on offense, but I am excited to see what Kiffin can do with practically a blank slate. Hopefully he learns from his mistakes in this game.

We need upgrades in our defensive backfield. Hopefully those guys will improve next season.

No melt here. I'm proud of those kids. Blake Sims might be my all-time favorite Bama player after this year. Cooper right there with him. Truly incredible team.

Can't win 'em all. Learn from this and remember how it tastes to use it for motivation next season.

We lose our QB, our only real offensive weapon, and the only decent player in an abysmal secondary. Even if we reload offensively with Coker, defensively we've gotten worse each of the last few years. What's going to stop every QB with a pulse from torching us?

I was happy Bama won a SEC Title in a rebuilding year, anything else would have been gravy. However, Bama should avoid the Sugar Bowl forever.

I have faith in Saban. He re-tooled the offense to meet the times. Perhaps he will be able to re-tool the defense. That's what he's supposedly best at.

I stand corrected. Too bad he can't cover 4 receivers at once.

Next year our CBs will be more experienced, which is a huge help. We lose Collins and some other great defensive players, but I'm not as concerned about those. Replacing Coop will be tough but I know we will still have a productive offense with Kiffin and Coker, plus Henry seems to be improving.

You didn't think the season after three straight championship calibre teams was a rebuilding season?

We had the best 1st and 2nd down defense in college football...

Not mad but I was wondering 'bout our last drive...do we not practice spiking the ball? Thought we could've saved at least 15 seconds or so if we had spiked the ball after our last 2 first downs...

That last drive was a real head scratcher.

I'm not trying to be intentionally negative, because I'm proud as hell of the way this team fought this year, but our secondary can't continue to get worse each year.
