Arkansas still sucks, but I'm glad our anomaly allowed you to gain bowl eligibility, for your sanity's sake

While I appreciate you allowing us to win, we only needed a 1 point victory, so why did you yield 30?

Only thing that truly worries me about UT vs. Iowa is that we just lost WR Jason Croom for the season. That makes 4 WRs (3 starters/major contributors) who've suffered season ending injuries this year and the irony is that has been the one position where we've been loaded in the depth dept. That said, Iowa can't keep up with Pig or Josh Malone.

Our athletes are superior even tho' we've been devastated by injuries all around. Iowa, even per their fans their players are slow as hell - no speed. Hopefully we'll get Crowder back at center because he matters A LOT to our offense.

Otherwise, I'm going to let my SEC homer out and say "sweep 'em."

I don't think your offense will be a problem, even without your receivers. Iowa can't score and if your defense plays average you won't need to score a ton.

I'll be pulling for the Rebels, I just don't see how this isn't a huge mismatch.

Hope you're right. If Crowder (our starting center) isn't ready and we play Wiesman like we did the last two games then I'm gonna be on edge. He nearly got Dobbs and especially RB Marlin Lane killed - no resistance whatsoever and Vandy blew past him and hammered Lane several yards behind the line and IN the redzone - Marlin Lane didn't even get the chance to take a step. The WR injuries are the worst but we're very much an injured team right now -- not to far away from UGA or UF last year.

If the rest between now and the bowl game is enough we should be ok. And yeah, I've heard Iowa has difficulties scoring, containing mobile QBs and one helluva time sealing off edges which we should be able to exploit.

BUT these days I take nothing for granted. We're close to competing again but battered fan syndrome has taken its toll.
