The middle of the field was wide open from the first snap on, before the gashing even began.
A combination of watching them play and recognizing that if the staff is bringing in one JUCO ILB, one UAB transfer ILB, two high school ILBs, and 2 other HSers that could play ILB, then they probably aren't that confident in the returners at ILB.

Has nothing do with their lack of confidence in
either.Its because we ZERO depth at the position.
Same reason we signed 2 5 star RB's with Gurley
and Marshall returning.
Hell,if you can project what kind of pass covering
ability a ILB will have off his special teams play
ESPECIALLY Kimbrough) than you need to be working
for the combine.

If they were just concerned about depth, they wouldn't be bringing in both a JUCO and a transfer. You don't bring those guys in to sit the bench
