Didn't we decide that posting from fake websites was bannable?

But the face validity was so high.

Some of my best friends are goats...

At least they smell like goats.

Well, if it is fake I have no way of knowing that. There was a story that used to go around Charity Hospital that a lady wanted to name her child "ciphalys". She asked the resident how she should spell it and he told her "Syphilis." And that is how the name was spelled on the birth certificate

From the actual site:

quote:

WNDR assumes however all responsibility for the satirical nature of its articles and for the fictional nature of their content. All characters appearing in the articles in this website – even those based on real people – are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any persons, living, dead, or undead is purely a miracle.

So, you did have a way of knowing with basic reading comprehension.

Sigh.... LSU fans.

World News Daily Report is very much a fake news site

Good lord, just look at some of the other stories on the site. 85 year old Texas woman arrested for making fur coats from neighbors' cats? Whale found in a field in Utah? Red Bull looking for volunteers for "extreme moon landing in 2020"?

I will never understand how people fall for stories on these obvious satire sites.

Ten years. 10,000 posts. After all that time, what development as a poster do you show?

This shite. An article from a fricking supermarket tabloid's website.

And if that isn't bad enough, it's from August.

Confirmation bias is widely acknowledged as the most powerful form of motivation in both homo sapiens and SEC-R posters, well ahead of such banalities as self-preservation, love, and sexual gratification.

You can't explain this shite away as simply confirmation bias.

This is bordering on dangerous levels of stupidity.

Like "how the frick do you not fall down every flight of stairs you ever encounter?" levels of dumb.

Yeah even if the original story isn't enough to tip you off the related articles should do the job just fine.
