Yeah, but Stansberry was always about 1/2 step ahead of the NCAA compliance officers. They would have nailed him eventually.

I'm pretty sure Bama won the SEC that year. Regardless, one season doesn't define a coach. If it did, Chizik would be headed to the HOF one day.

Consistency is what defines a coach and Wimp regularly had teams in the Sweet 16.
