I'm speaking to anyone in the Birmingham area...brother said this this morning and I haven't heard any in the news?

Can anyone confirm this? If so...that's just bullshite. I'm so tired of this racist fricking protest from people who don't know the story. And even if they do, they only have second hand accounts of it. It's fricking Christmas. Jesus Christ this makes me furious. Outraged. Sick with anger!

I hope they get shite for Christmas.

Aren't there like 18 different ways to get into that place?

They're blocking the entrance to the Summit on 280, then they're moving to the Galleria to stage a "die-in".

they should all be arrested. when they start blocking shite off its time to bring out the billy clubs and hand cuffs. This shouldn't be that hard to deal with. If they want to protest that is fine, get a permit and do it in a area that isn't putting themselves in danger and inconveniencing other people.

I think there's an occupation called "professional protester." Of course, their pay comes in the form of government welfare.

i am a non confrontational person, but if they were standing in the road blocking traffic while i was trying to get in somewhere i would have no problem hitting one of them with my car and taking my chances in court.

pretty much everyone has a shorter temper than me so i dont know how this doesnt happen more. maybe its just a pet peeve of mine, people who have nothing else to do inconveniencing people over a stupid reason

Police have already said they have a plan in place to prevent them from blocking traffic. I doubt enough people even show up. My office is near The Summit so I may go check it out.

I'm trying to figure out how they are going to protest at the Summit at 3:00 and be over at the galleria at 4:30 for the "die in". Have they not accounted for how bad they are going to frick up traffic on 459

We own a business in Cahaba Heights. Already spoke to the City Planner and Police Chief. There will be extra officers on duty Friday.

I total support a person's right to protest. I totally understand the outrage against the militarisation of America's police force. However, your right to protest ends when it starts impacting my personal income.

Go vote. Go peacefully protest at Kelly Ingram Park. Don't disrupt the two largest shopping centers in Bham on the Friday before Christmas.
