There is a statistically significant portion of kids who were either born after 9/11 or were too young to remember it that believe "911" is the emergency number because of September 11th.

I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

They're prepubescent kids, what do you expect?

I'm pretty sure I could convince a 30 year old blonde MILF that Santa is real.

You've gotta look on the bright side chief

Something less than full retard

And for the record, this isn't just prepubescent kids. Pretty much everyone younger than a senior in high school has no conscious memory of 9/11.

Just think, in two weeks there will be drivers out on the roads who were born in 2000.

Well Merry Christmas to you, too, Mr. Scrooge.

There are grown people today who think Lenny Kravitz wrote "American Woman", and didn't get it when Will Ferrell's character in Anchorman shouted "Hey Aqualung!" after playing the flute.

Have y'all ever witnessed a teenager try and address an envelope these days? They have no clue how to actually send mail. . .it's pretty sad, really. I learned that shite in kindergarten thanks to Reading Rainbow.

They were 5 tops when it happened. What do you expect? Yes they won't know a time of innocence like we did when you weren't fed fear nonstop by the media, but it happens. This is as dumb as getting mad at Generation X for not remembering the Kennedy Assassination.

Oh yeah, so parents should have told their 3 year olds about 9/11 and how they should constantly fear for their lives and beat it into them so hard that they'd remember it for the rest of their lives. My little cousin was born the week after 9/11. Should his parents have put a tv in his crib with non-stop images of the buildings on fire so he could be traumatized by it? Why not let kids be kids at that point, just tell them something bad and evil happened, and let them get on with their lives, have fun, and just be a kid? Fear mongering kids is bullshite as far as I'm concerned.

Well, to be fair, September 11 used to be National 911 Day before the attack happened.

Oddly enough I remember this because I looked at the calendar in my class a week or so before the attack happened and noticed it, and made a comment about it. Which gives me slight heebie jeebies now
