I can't believe there is a significant number of children wearing diapers who aren't potty trained.
It's natural progression for a child's mind to draw parallels with the things that they hear in conversation with the general basic knowledge they know and try to connect the two.
Perhaps your crusade would be better suited against the parents of these children, or better yet become a teacher and teach these young fragile minds the difference of such things.
TL;DR stop bitching like a old man and be part of the solution and not the problem.

Oh yeah, so parents should have told their 3 year olds about 9/11 and how they should constantly fear for their lives and beat it into them so hard that they'd remember it for the rest of their lives. My little cousin was born the week after 9/11. Should his parents have put a tv in his crib with non-stop images of the buildings on fire so he could be traumatized by it? Why not let kids be kids at that point, just tell them something bad and evil happened, and let them get on with their lives, have fun, and just be a kid? Fear mongering kids is bull shite as far as I'm concerned.

In my kid's last scout meeting they had a preacher come and visit and talk about Jesus and Christmas. He asked "who was Jesus?" and one of the kids (these are six year olds) said that Jesus died for our (America's) freedoms
